You Already Sell Data For Pennies đŸŒ±
Passive income in crypto used to mean lending something you owned, and DePIN turned it into selling something you barely notice.
$GRASS runs that at scale, with more than 8.5 million monthly active nodes across roughly 190 countries pulling public web pages for AI companies, settling on $SOL as its own data rollup.
It works because a public page carries nothing about the person fetching it, so there is nothing to lose by fetching it.
Everything that would pay better is the opposite. What sits on your device, in your files and in your accounts is the data AI companies actually want, and the only way to sell it today is to hand over a copy that never comes back.
Arcium sells the answer instead of the copy. A buyer's question and the data go in as fragments across a cluster of nodes, no single node holds a readable copy, and what comes back is the result the buyer paid for.
Solana records the payment and the result as ordinary public transactions, so both sides can prove the exchange happened.
That has been running on Mainnet Alpha since February 2, and Blackthorn, which brings the same thing to AI models, has not shipped yet.
Bandwidth was the easy thing to rent out because it was worth the least, and the earning opportunity I am watching is the one where the valuable data gets rented without ever being handed over.
