🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump just REJECTED Iran’s deal, but still expects talks this week...

One day after turning down Tehran’s proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, Trump told Axios he anticipates further negotiations.

Iran wants the naval blockade lifted and oil sanctions eased.

The U.S. is demanding nuclear concessions first.

Trump said Iran “overplayed their hand” and is offering what might have worked a year ago.

He added he is “always thinking about” resuming strikes, even as record oil volumes moved through the strait over the weekend.
