Beating AI News Flash: Wajo, founded by former Google DeepMind engineering lead Shivani Poddar, is pushing its personal AI Agent Fo. It can make calls, send emails, book services, and make payments on behalf of users. When the AI can't handle something on its own, it hands it off to a human assistant to continue.For example, when contacting a barbershop, personal trainer, or local business that has no API, if Fo can't manage it alone, it has a human make the call, communicate the request, and get the job done. The human only receives the information needed to complete the task and does not directly see all of the user's chat history.Wajo also ran a self-test with 104 real-world tasks, repeating each task 3 times. With no human fallback used throughout the test, Fo's task completion rate was 71%, while OpenClaw's was 42%, making the former about 69% higher. In another set of safety tests specifically checking whether the AI would contact others without authorization, leak privacy, or make unauthorized decisions, Fo's pass rate was 94%.
