Tokenized Stock Trading on DEXs Surges to $20.9 Billion

Tokenized stocks are gaining significant traction in decentralized finance, with $20.9 billion in trading volume recorded on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) over the past 30 days, according to data attributed to Token Terminal.

Uniswap is at the center of this activity. Uniswap V4 accounted for about 40.7% of tokenized-stock DEX volume, while V3 contributed another 19.4%. Together, the two versions represented approximately 60.1% of the reported volume.

The growth highlights a broader shift toward bringing traditional financial assets onto blockchain networks. Tokenized stocks can potentially offer 24/7 trading, on-chain settlement and integration with DeFi applications, although the market remains relatively new and faces liquidity, regulatory and operational risks.

Tokenized-stock activity is also expanding beyond simple trading. Recent data showed approximately $192.6 million in tokenized-stock DeFi deposits, including lending and liquidity applications, illustrating how these assets are increasingly being incorporated into the wider DeFi ecosystem.

Bottom line: The $20.9 billion figure signals rapidly increasing on-chain activity around tokenized equities, with Uniswap emerging as a major venue. The key question going forward is whether this volume represents the beginning of a sustained migration of traditional equity markets onto blockchain infrastructure or remains concentrated in an early-stage market.#DogecoinETFsPostBiggestWeekSinceLaunch #StrategyStriveAdd2305BitcoinThisWeek
