BlockBeats news, September 25: The Central Bank of Russia has established the crypto market admission procedures for digital custodian institutions, crypto trading platforms, and operators of digital rights information systems. According to the Central Bank's press service, all the aforementioned participants must be included in the corresponding registers. The regulation sets out qualification requirements for members of the management bodies and certain officials of digital custodian institutions, crypto trading platforms, and information system operators, clarifies the list of documents required for admission applications, and specifies the procedure for the Central Bank to decide on including relevant information in the registers.The document also contains simplified admission rules for existing market participants—these institutions will submit documents to apply for digital custodian institution and crypto exchange qualifications. The directive regulates how the Central Bank maintains the registers, updates data, and publishes registration information on its official website. The relevant regulations have been registered with the Russian Ministry of Justice and will officially take effect on October 5, 2026.
