BTC is still forming this megaphone pattern, and honestly, I wouldnât want to stand in front of it here.
The structure has been built through traps on both sides. Price takes the previous high, pulls in breakout longs, then reverses.
Then it takes the previous low, pulls in fresh shorts, and rallies back up.
Bull trap â bear trap â bull trap.
That kind of compression usually doesnât stay quiet forever.
If BTC breaks and closes above the upper boundary around $83.5K, the squeeze could get violent pretty quickly.
A lot of trapped shorts would be sitting above that level, and once they start covering, they can become the fuel for the next leg higher.
So for me, $83.5K is the line in the sand.
