Let me make this personal. Iâm JoeyđŠ, from Lebanon, and before Binance TradFi, accessing U.S. markets from here was a completely different experience for me. If I wanted exposure to U.S. stocks, I had to go through a separate platform, deal with paperwork, bank accounts, ownership requirements and multiple steps just to get started. And the cost structure could make things even harder. In the setup I personally encountered, there was a fixed percentage charged on the transaction regardless of whether my position actually generated a meaningful profit, followed by another 30% of the profit being taken by the intermediary for handling the U.S. stock purchase. So imagine finally finding a position that moves in your favor, only to see a significant part of that result disappear through fees and intermediary costs. Sometimes, the numbers simply stopped making sense for a smaller investor. That was my reality.
Then Binance TradFi changed the experience for me. Instead of navigating multiple platforms and a long process just to get exposure to U.S. markets, I could open Binance from home, find the TradFi section, choose an available U.S.-stock perpetual, check the specifications and enter a position directly from my phone. Binance says stock perpetuals provide price exposure to individual stocks without requiring a traditional brokerage account, with USDT settlement and a minimum notional value of 5 USDT for the contracts covered by its current specifications.
And the difference in fees is something I personally noticed immediately. Instead of the kind of layered cost structure I had experienced before, Binance TradFi Perps use Binanceâs trading-fee structure, with current promotional rates published by Binance showing very small percentage-based trading fees depending on maker/taker status and VIP level. Fees and promotions can change, so I always check the live fee schedule before trading.
The accessibility is what really changed the game for me. I donât need to be sitting in a financial center. I donât need a complicated setup just to get exposure. I can literally be at home in Lebanon, open my phone, check the market, read the contract details and make my own decision in a few clicks.
And there is another part I really like: the barrier to experimenting with small amounts can be much lower. Many Binance TradFi Perpetuals currently have a minimum notional value of just 5 USDT. That doesn't mean $5 eliminates risk or that every trade only needs $5 of capital, leverage, margin, fees, funding and liquidation still matter, but it does mean the product can be accessible at a much smaller notional size than the traditional setup I was used to.
Today, I have exposure to many U.S.-market assets through Binance, and the biggest change for me wasn't simply the assets themselves. It was the accessibility. What once felt like a complicated process involving platforms, documents, banks, intermediaries and layers of costs became something I could access from the comfort of my home.
Thatâs what Binance TradFi means to me personally.
Not âWall Street from your phone.â
Not a promise of profit.
Just a much simpler bridge between where I am in Lebanon and the global markets I want to learn about and participate in.
And for someone who remembers how complicated the old process felt, that difference is huge. đŠ
