Bitcoin just made an interesting move on the 15-minute chart.
After getting rejected near $80,060, BTC started moving lower and eventually dropped to around $79,001. That looked like a strong pullback, but buyers quickly stepped in and pushed the price back toward $79,600.
That bounce is important.
It tells us that buyers are still interested around the $79K area. But at the same time, Bitcoin has not confirmed a full bullish reversal yet.
The main level I’m watching now is $79,647.
If BTC can break above this level and actually hold it, we could see another push toward $79,880 and then $80,060.
But if price gets rejected again around $79,647, I wouldn’t be surprised to see another dip toward $79,414. Below that, $79,181 and $79,001 become important support areas.
The $79,001 level is probably the most important support on this chart right now. Buyers defended it aggressively, so losing that level could completely change the short-term picture.
Volume is another thing worth watching. A breakout with strong volume would give the move much more credibility. If BTC moves above resistance without enough buying pressure, there’s always a chance of a fake breakout.
What I’m watching
Bullish:
$79,647 breakout → $79,880 → $80,060
Bearish:
$79,647 rejection → $79,414 → $79,181 → $79,001
For now, Bitcoin is basically stuck between buyers defending the lower levels and sellers protecting the $79.6K–$80K area.
I’d rather wait for confirmation than chase the move. The next clean break could tell us where BTC wants to go next.
