At first, I also thought of blockchain privacy mainly as hiding transaction details. But the more I looked into Duskâs architecture, the more I started seeing it differently. Privacy here doesnât feel like something simply added on top. Cryptography is built into the system itself, with ZK proofs, PLONK, and other primitives playing an important role.
But honestly, the part I find even more interesting isnât privacy alone. If weâre talking about financial markets and institutions, asking developers to learn an entirely new ecosystem could create a lot of friction. Thatâs why the DuskEVM approach caught my attention.
The possibility of using Solidity and familiar EVM tools could make the entry barrier much lower for developers, while Duskâs privacy-focused infrastructure offers a different way to handle sensitive financial data.
To me, blockchain finance may need exactly this balance: familiar development experience + privacy + selective disclosure.
But Iâm still curious about one thing. Can this combination actually make blockchain practical for sensitive financial workflows, or is there still a bigger gap between privacy and compliance?
