That's where I think Dusk's architecture becomes interesting.
In traditional finance, sensitive information often moves through intermediaries because counterparties, auditors, and compliance teams need different pieces of the same transaction. Simply removing visibility can therefore create a new problem: participants may protect their privacy but lose the information needed to coordinate.
Dusk's Confidential Security Contract (XSC) approach creates a different design question—can financial applications keep sensitive state confidential while still allowing the right parties to verify what actually matters?
That distinction is important.
If privacy requires exposing everything to an intermediary, the system hasn't really removed the trust dependency. But if confidentiality can be maintained while selective verification remains possible, financial applications can reduce unnecessary information exposure without sacrificing coordination.
The implication is bigger than "private transactions."
