A few days ago I wrote that a bStock can be moved off the exchange into self-custody. I hadn't tried it. Today I did — into the Binance Web3 Wallet, since it's attached to the same account and always a tap away.
The transfer itself was unremarkable, which is the point. Same screen I use for sending crypto, BEP-20, BNB Smart Chain, network fee zero. One wall: the minimum transfer is 0.1, so I sent 0.118 $SKHYB across.
What I didn't expect was what waited there. Stock Hub → bStocks Earn, and my share stopped being something I only hold.
Under one heading there are several different mechanics, and the sign in front of the number is what separates them.
Some entries are lending markets — Venus, Lista — where a bStock sits as collateral and you borrow against it. Those percentages are negative, and a minus there isn't a loss. It's the cost of the loan: the price of not selling your position when you need cash. I hold $CRCLB and it's on that list.
Other entries are liquidity pools, where the percentage is positive because it's a reward. That's the one I tried.
At 16:56 the USDT-SKHYB pool showed 95.52%. I opened it, picked the widest range — a narrow one would drift out of range over a weekend and stop earning — and the estimate on the confirmation screen read 13.4%. Estimated daily return: $0.01876.
Seven times smaller than the number that got me there, six minutes earlier. Neither figure is false. A narrow range concentrates your money where trades actually happen, so it earns harder while it lasts; a wide one earns less and survives longer. The headline assumes the aggressive version. The screen where you choose shows the honest one.
I put in 0.118 SKHYB and 31.4458 USDT, and left it. On Sunday I'll report what actually accrued.
One transfer was the whole distance between holding a share and being able to use it.

@BinanceCIS When you see a yield number, do you know which question it's answering?
