#LedgerConfirmsUnauthorizedHardwareImplantInUserDevice ⚠️ A reported hardware implant raises a serious question about crypto wallet security. $BTC, $ETH and $SOL holders rely on self-custody to protect their assets. But what if a device was tampered with before it ever reached its owner? Ledger has reportedly confirmed an unauthorized hardware implant discovered in a user's device. The claim raises concerns about supply-chain security, but the details and wider implications remain unclear. Here's what matters: 🔴 Supply-chain risk: Physical tampering could undermine trust in hardware wallets. 🛡️ Self-custody: Buying through trusted channels and following official device-verification guidance matters. 👀 What to watch: Official security updates and whether investigators establish that this was an isolated incident. One reported compromised device doesn't mean every Ledger wallet is vulnerable. The real question is whether this was an isolated case or evidence of a broader supply-chain weakness. #Ledger #CryptoSecurity #Bitcoin #Ethereum #SelfCustody
