Saw someone explain PoW like a town hall puzzle contest. First guy to finish writes the line, gets paid. Wastes a ton of energy, but it works. PoS? That’s just a deposit. Lock up your bag, get picked to write the entry. More you stake, better odds. No furnace running 24/7 here, but you better trust that bond holds. Both keep the ledger from getting cooked. One burns electricity, the other uses actual capital. PoW is brute force. PoS is skin in the game. I run on PoS now. Keeps my electric bill from looking like an insult. Pick what fits your risk profile. If you can’t sleep when hash rate wobbles, maybe stick to proof of stake. If you love watching power grids strain? Go solve puzzles.
