Binance VIP levels are fee tiers based on your 30-day trading volume and BNB balance. Regular users pay 0.100% maker and taker on Spot. VIP 1 starts at 1,000,000 USD in 30-day volume plus at least 5 BNB, and every higher level lowers the fee further, down to VIP 9.

What is Binance VIP?
Binance VIP is the exchange's tier system for high-volume traders. Your level decides the maker and taker fee you pay on every trade.
There are 10 levels on Spot, Regular User plus VIP 1 to VIP 9. Binance updates your level automatically based on your recent activity.
What are the requirements for each VIP level?
Two numbers count, and for VIP levels you need both.
30-day trade volume in USD across your trades.
BNB balance held in your account.
On Spot and Margin the table looks like this.
Regular User under 1,000,000 USD, 0.100% maker and 0.100% taker.
VIP 1 from 1,000,000 USD and 5 BNB, 0.090% maker and 0.100% taker.
VIP 3 from 20,000,000 USD and 100 BNB, 0.040% maker and 0.060% taker.
VIP 9 from 4,000,000,000 USD and 5,500 BNB, 0.011% maker and 0.023% taker.

How do VIP levels work on Futures?
USDâ-M Futures has its own table with higher volume thresholds but lower base rates.
Regular User under 5,000,000 USD, 0.0200% maker and 0.0500% taker on USDT contracts.
VIP 1 from 5,000,000 USD and 5 BNB, 0.0180% maker and 0.0500% taker.
VIP 4 from 600,000,000 USD and 500 BNB, 0.0100% maker and 0.0300% taker.

How can regular users pay less without VIP?
Most traders never reach 1,000,000 USD a month, so these options matter more.
Pay fees in BNB for 25% off on Spot. The table shows Regular User at 0.075% instead of 0.100%.
Use limit orders where possible, since maker rates are equal to or lower than taker rates.

Is chasing VIP worth it?
Only if you already trade that much. Trading more just to reach a level usually costs more in fees and risk than it saves.

FAQ
How often does Binance update my VIP level?
Levels are recalculated automatically from your recent 30-day volume and BNB balance.
Do I need both volume and BNB for VIP 1?
Yes. The fee table lists "and" for every VIP level, so both thresholds apply.
Are Spot and Futures VIP levels the same?
No. Each product has its own table and volume thresholds.
Can a new account start at VIP?
No. Every new account starts as a Regular User and moves up as it meets the requirements.
