Uniswap Is Building While Its Token Is Falling Is the Market Missing Something?

UNI is trading around $6.82, down roughly 25% over the past month. But what caught my attention is that Uniswap’s product development hasn’t stopped just because its token price is under pressure.

On October 22, Uniswap launched Aggregator Hooks, connecting external liquidity sources directly into Uniswap v4 pools. The goal is to help traders access better liquidity across different venues. If adoption grows, this could strengthen Uniswap’s position beyond its traditional role as a decentralized exchange.

There’s another important change: Uniswap’s protocol-fee mechanism now directs fees from enabled pools toward UNI burns. That creates a link between trading activity and token supply reduction, although the impact depends on actual fee generation. More volume does not automatically guarantee a higher UNI price.

Here’s what I’m watching:

- $6.82: Current reference price.
- $7.00: Key recovery level.
- $7.30: Resistance bulls need to challenge.
- $6.50: Downside support to monitor.

🟢 Bullish confirmation: UNI reclaims $7.00 and holds above it with stronger spot volume. A sustained move toward $7.30 would improve the recovery setup.

🔴 Bearish confirmation: UNI loses $6.50 and fails to reclaim it. That would signal continued weakness despite the protocol’s development progress.

My read: Uniswap is working on liquidity aggregation and token value capture, but the market hasn’t rewarded those developments consistently. I want to see buyers return before assuming the current price offers an easy opportunity.

A strong protocol story is the reason to watch UNI. A confirmed price recovery is the reason to trade it. $UNI
