$PEPE is ~$0.00000457 at 19:02 ICT Oct 21 (Binance spot). The Oct 20 daily closed +9.6% and broke the range it had been stuck in since Oct 9. For the last ~20 hours it's been sitting in a tight flag just under the highs. Here's how I'd trade it without chasing.
🔥 What's moving it
• No PEPE-specific headline that I can verify. It moved with a risk-on day (BTC +2.5%, ETH +3.6% in 24h at ~19:00 ICT), and it moved harder.
• The push came in one candle: the Oct 20 19:00 ICT 4H bar went $0.00000420 → $0.00000453 (+7.9%) on ~$26.9M of Binance spot volume. That's the biggest 4H volume bar in 20 days.
• Shorts got caught. TokenPost counted ~$140K of PEPE short liquidations in one hour on Oct 20 (Binance, Bybit, OKX) and $0 of longs.
• Futures aren't crowded. OKX perp funding is back at the 0.01% per 8h baseline (it was slightly negative Oct 18–19), open interest ~$36M.
• Background, not news: Canary's spot PEPE ETF (S-1 Apr 8, amended Oct 2) is still pending at the SEC. Nothing new on it this week.
📊 Daily (1D)

Oct 9–19 was a box: $0.00000376 (Oct 13 low) to $0.00000433 (Oct 12 high).
The Oct 20 close ($0.00000456) was the first daily close above $0.00000433 since Oct 5, on ~$61.7M of Binance spot volume, ~1.7x the 30-day average.
Price is above both daily EMAs: EMA20 ~$0.00000418, EMA50 ~$0.00000399. It's ~9% above the EMA20, a bit stretched.
Overhead: the Oct 2 wick high ($0.00000475), then the Sep 23 high ($0.00000507). Still -84% from the Dec 2024 ATH, so this is a bounce inside a big downtrend, not a new cycle.
Wilder RSI(14) ~61. Room to run on the daily.
⏱️ 4H

Breakout high $0.00000467 (Oct 20, 23:00 ICT bar). Since then: lows $0.00000448, $0.00000449, $0.00000446, $0.00000446. Highs $0.00000463 and $0.00000460. That's the flag.
The 4H EMA20 (~$0.00000432) is rising into the old range top ($0.00000425–0.00000433). That's the retest I want.
The 4H EMA50 (~$0.00000418) sits right on my out line.
Wilder RSI(14) ~70 on the last closed 4H bar. Hot. Flags often reset RSI by going sideways or dipping first.
🎯 The plan
• Starter: $0.00000446–0.00000450 (flag floor), small
• Main: $0.00000425–0.00000433 (old range top + 4H EMA20)
• TP1: $0.00000467–0.00000475 (Oct 20 high + Oct 2 high)
• TP2: $0.00000500–0.00000507 (round number + Sep 23 high)
• Out: 4H close below $0.00000418 (back inside the old range)
Main zone fill (~$0.00000429, stop ~$0.00000415, risk ~3.3%): ~2.7–3.3R to TP1, ~5.1–5.6R to TP2.
Starter only (~$0.00000448, risk ~7.4%): ~0.6–0.8R / ~1.6–1.8R. Both filled, equal size (avg ~$0.00000438, risk ~5.4%): ~1.2–1.6R / ~2.6–2.9R.
Chasing $0.00000457 (risk ~9.2%): ~0.2–0.4R to TP1. Not the plan.
🟢 Bull case
The flag holds $0.00000446 and a 4H close above $0.00000467 breaks it. Then $0.00000467–0.00000475 is the first test, and $0.00000500–0.00000507 is next. If it breaks without a dip, I don't chase. I wait for a retest of $0.00000467 and re-plan.
🔴 Bear case
The flag floor gives way and price retests $0.00000425–0.00000433. That's normal after a breakout, and it's where my main bid is. A 4H close below $0.00000418 means the breakout failed and price is back in the box. Next support is $0.00000376–0.00000388 (Oct 13–18 lows). I'm out there, no averaging down.
🧠 My take
Breakout on real volume, futures not crowded, daily RSI not stretched. I like the structure. What I don't like: there's no headline behind it, the 4H is hot, and the starter-only RR is thin. So the starter stays small and most of the size waits for the retest.
Self-critique: strong flags sometimes never come back to the retest. If PEPE runs from here, I miss the move with most of my size. I'm OK with that. Chasing at 0.2–0.4R is worse than missing.
