đ $TSLA Earnings: Flying Roadster or Real Profits? Here's My Take!
Tesla's Q3 earnings are here, but I'm watching something more important than the flying Roadster hype. đ
đ The Numbers So Far:
đ Q3 deliveries: 486,532 vehicles
⥠Energy storage deployments: 13.7 GWh
đ€ Future catalysts: Robotaxi, Optimus and AI
My outlook: Cautiously BULLISH long term, but NEUTRAL before earnings.
Here's why:
â Tesla's energy business is becoming an increasingly important growth driver.
â Robotaxi and Optimus could create enormous long-term opportunities if Tesla achieves commercial scale.
â ïž The flying Roadster is exciting, but I don't expect meaningful contributions to near-term earnings. It's a future product, not today's profit engine.
â ïž Strong deliveries don't automatically mean strong profits. Automotive margins, free cash flow and forward guidance matter more.
đ° My Trading Strategy:
I'm avoiding aggressive leveraged positions before earnings.
đ Bullish scenario: Improving margins, strong energy profitability and credible AI commercialization progress â Consider buying after confirmation.
đ Bearish scenario: Weak margins, disappointing cash flow or delayed execution â Stay patient and look for better entry prices.
My prediction: Tesla's long-term potential remains attractive, but earnings must justify the valuation. I'd rather miss the first 5% of a rally than chase an earnings spike blindly.
đ„ What do you think? Will $TSLA rally after earnings, or is the AI hype already priced in?
