News - JPMorgan Asset Management has, for the first time, included Bitcoin in its long-term return projections. The firm's 2027 Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions report forecast a 10% compound annual return for Bitcoin over the next 10 to 15 years. That's ahead of U.S large-cap stocks (7.5%), U.S. REITs (8.2%), and gold (5.5%).
The report also put Bitcoin's arithmetic average annual return at 20.9%, with annualized volatility of 55%.
According to Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan, JPMorgan now ranks Bitcoin as the top-performing asset expected over the next decade. This is another sign that crypto is being taken as a serious financial option.
