🚹 $ARB IS UP — BUT HERE’S WHAT SMART INVESTORS SHOULD CHECK

Can a stablecoin reward program help a crypto project grow?

Arbitrum ($ARB) is trying to find out.

On October 15, Arbitrum announced a 2 million ARB reward pool to encourage DeFi applications to use USDG, a dollar-linked stablecoin, on its network. The first 10 eligible teams to reach an average of $10 million in USDG deposits over 30 days can each receive 200,000 ARB.

📈 Why does this matter?

More stablecoin activity could mean more deposits, lending, trading and other financial activity on Arbitrum.

But there’s a catch.

Rewards can attract money temporarily. Real growth means users keep using the network even after incentives end.

🔎 Here are 3 things I’d watch:

- Stablecoin growth: Is USDG adoption actually increasing?
- Real activity: Are people using Arbitrum for lending and trading?
- Long-term demand: Does activity continue beyond the reward program?

⚠ One important detail: Arbitrum is also considering a separate DAO proposal for an additional 100 million ARB to support USDG growth. That proposal is not the same as the existing 2 million ARB reward pool.

My view: this is a development worth researching, not a guaranteed buy signal. ARB’s price can still fall even if its ecosystem grows.

👇 What do you think will matter more for $ARB?

A) More stablecoin liquidity
B) Real users and network activity
C) Market sentiment and Bitcoin’s direction
