Tesla earnings are coming up and honestly I’m more interested in the margins than another headline number
I’m bullish on Tesla’s long term potential but I’m not rushing into a trade just because earnings are close. The 486532 deliveries reported for Q3 are worth watching but the real question is how much profit Tesla is making from those sales and whether cash flow is holding up
The AI side is interesting too especially Cybercab and Optimus. But I want to see actual progress rather than another round of big promises. The Roadster is getting attention but with production targeted for 2028 I don’t see it changing the near term earnings picture much
My plan is to let the report come out first. I’ll watch how the stock reacts around support and resistance instead of guessing the direction beforehand. If buyers step in and price confirms a breakout I’ll consider a long setup with a clear stop loss. If the reaction is weak I’m fine staying on the sidelines
I’m also keeping position size under control because earnings can bring sharp moves in both directions. Even a good report can lead to selling if expectations are already too high
For me Tesla still has potential but this quarter needs to show progress in the actual business not just excitement around future technology
What’s your plan for $TSLA holding through earnings or waiting for confirmation after the report
