I think open auctions are easy to game because everyone can see your bid and just offer a little more, but it gets interesting when bids stay completely hidden until the end. That's where Nillion Covenants could be really useful, keeping bids private until the auction is over to prevent front-running. $DUSK DUSK is already live on Ethereum and would be perfect to build a real auction around this. The biggest challenge is trust though, if all bids are private, how do we prove the winner was picked fairly without revealing everyone else's offers? That's the auction I want to see built.
