ETH sitting around $2430 today. Market cap still near $297B, solid #2 spot. Up a bit in the last 24h but down roughly 5% on the week and about 7-8% over the past month. Still more than 50% below that Aug 2025 high near $4946.

Nothing crazy happening price-wise. Just consolidating.

What stands out more is the technical side. Glamsterdam already went live on Sepolia earlier this month and is scheduled for Hoodi testnet on Oct 26. They’re pushing for a much higher gas limit (around 200M on the testnet), enshrined PBS, and block-level access lists. Mainnet date still not locked in. If it lands cleanly it would be one of the bigger L1 throughput jumps we’ve seen in a while. Still need to see how it actually performs under real load though.
On-chain side remains steady. DeFi TVL on Ethereum is hovering near $50B. Staking ratio around 28%, yields still in that low-to-mid 2% range after fees for most liquid staking options. ETF flows have been mixed lately with some net outflows in recent sessions, but the funds still hold roughly $15B.

Not trying to hype or scare anyone. ETH still has the deepest liquidity, biggest app ecosystem, and continuous development. At the same time competition is real and macro + flows still move the price a lot.
Curious what you guys are watching more closely right now — the Glamsterdam test results, ETF flows, or something else?
