I Predicted WCT Would Hit $1 When It Was $0.37 - Here's How I Knew

When WCT was about to list on Binance, I was new in crypto.

The chart made no sense to me. So I stopped looking at the chart and started researching the project.

WCT = WalletConnect Token.

I realized this is the protocol we use every single day. Every time an airdrop comes, we click "Connect Wallet" - that secure connection, that privacy layer is WalletConnect. A company that powers millions of connections.

That day, WCT was trading at $0.37 - $0.38 in pre-market.

I thought: A token with this utility should be at least $1. That was my analysis.

Here is what happened next:

It dumped to $0.30 and got stuck.
Then it broke $0.40 and got stuck again between $0.60 - $0.70.
Everyone called it dead.

Then it did exactly what fundamentals do - It went straight to $1 and pumped to $1.3928.

My analysis was 100% correct. But did I profit?

No.

I had only $10 capital, and that was borrowed. I bought at $0.39 and sold at $0.39 out of fear for a $3 profit. I lost patience, not money.

3 Lessons I Learned:

1. Fundamentals Over Charts: Before you buy, ask what the token actually does. Real utility always wins.

2. Timing + Patience: A good entry at $0.37 to $1.39 is a 275% move. But it only works if you hold.

3. Trading is Simple, But Not Easy: It is easy to predict $1. It is very hard to hold $10 when that $10 is borrowed money.

Now WCT is back to $0.034. History often repeats in crypto. Always do your own research and check the project background before investing.

This is not financial advice. This is my personal experience.
