$XRP is showing a situation I find more interesting than a simple green or red candle.

U.S. spot XRP ETFs have accumulated roughly $1.8 billion in net inflows since launch.

But the latest numbers are starting to look different.

On October 16, $XRP ETFs recorded around $2.5 million in net outflows. That was the second consecutive outflow day, after a small $105K outflow on October 15.

So the longer-term flow picture is still positive, but the very recent trend has weakened.

And XRP itself is trading around $1.30.

This is exactly why I don’t think ETF inflows should automatically be treated as a price guarantee.

Money can continue entering an ETF over a long period while the underlying asset still struggles because price is influenced by many other factors — liquidity, broader market conditions, positioning and actual spot demand.

What I find worth watching now is whether the recent ETF outflows remain temporary or become a longer trend.

If flows turn positive again while $XRP holds its current area, that would be interesting.

If outflows continue and price keeps weakening, then the data would be telling a different story.

For now, I’m watching the change in direction rather than trying to predict the outcome.

When you analyse XRP, what matters more to you: ETF flows, whale activity, or price action?
