Looked at the $BTC chart for longer than I meant to. 81,475. Down a hair today.
The thing is, I keep switching timeframes and my mood switches with them. Ninety days, I feel fine. Almost smug. Then one year, and ugh, minus 24. Same coin. Same minute.
I think that's the part nobody says out loud. It isn't the number on the screen that moves me, it's whi hever window I happened to open.

The tiny chart is almost funny. Spikes, drops, spikes, all inside a space smaller than a rounding error on the bigger picture. And I still watched it for a while, like something was about to happen. Nothing did. Price ended up about where it began.

Maybe that's what a quiet Saturday looks like in this market. Eight billion dollars changing hands and the price barely cares. Or maybe I'm reading calm into it because I want calm.

I don't know. I really don't. Part of me wants to say the worst is behind us, and part of me remembers how many times I've said that before.

So I'll close the app, probably. Open it again in ten minutes, definitely.

Anyone else do that, or is it just me?
