Whales Holding 10+ $BTC Just Hit an ATH. Do Whales Know Something You Don't ? Santiment counts 20,338 $BTC wallets holding between 10 and 10,000 BTC, the most ever. The number has climbed almost nonstop since mid-July, even as price ran from $63K in August to the high $80Ks in October and slipped under $80K this week. Real buying or just wallets splitting? A bit of both. One holder can spread coins across many addresses (a wallet dormant since March 2020 sent 4,582 BTC to five new ones on Oct 12, for example). But balances point the same way: this group added 86,702 BTC, about $7B, in the three weeks to Oct 6, its highest holdings since April. On the other side: wallets under 0.01 BTC took profits into the rally, US spot ETFs saw $539.8M of net outflows between Oct 1 and 14 after taking in $6.2B over August and September, and Binance funding went negative (-0.0073%) for the first time since June. So do they know something? Probably not. CryptoQuant's data shows large holders bought after the rebound started, not ahead of it, which looks more like following price than predicting it. What they have is patience. A hot CPI print can liquidate a 10x long; it rarely forces a spot holder out. đŸ”» The signal hasn't paid off yet. $BTC is still about 35% below its ATH and under its October open of $83.6K. CryptoQuant calls this early bull market behavior, Glassnode sees little fresh demand behind price, and Santiment itself says price can still move lower short term. I'm watching $80.4K support (then $78K and $74K). A daily close above $88K with ETF inflows back would be the clearest sign that buyers are absorbing supply. ETFs are selling while big wallets are buying. Which side do you think is early? #BTC Price Analysis# #Altcoin Season# #Macro Insights#
