♟️ SAYLOR IS IN CHECK. BUT IS IT CHECKMATE?

Michael Saylor has spent years building one of the biggest Bitcoin treasuries in the world.

Now, a single decision could put Strategy (MSTR) under pressure — without Bitcoin falling a single dollar.

And this time, the opponent isn't a crypto bear.

It's MSCI.

🚨 WHAT JUST HAPPENED?

On October 15, MSCI officially approved new rules that make certain "non-operating" companies ineligible for its global equity indexes.

Strategy, Metaplanet and other crypto treasury firms could be affected.

This is no longer just a proposal.

⚠️ WHY DOES IT MATTER?

If Strategy is removed from an MSCI index, funds tracking that index may have to sell MSTR shares.

That could create selling pressure and complicate future capital raising.

But here's the twist:

Strategy says MSCI-linked funds hold only about 3.1% of its basic shares outstanding.

So how big would the impact really be?

📅 THE NEXT TWO MOVES

November 11 — MSCI publishes the final list of potentially affected companies.

November 30 — the new methodology takes effect after market close.

IMPORTANT: Strategy has NOT been officially excluded.

And selling $MSTR shares does NOT mean Strategy must sell its $BTC reserves.

The implications for $ETH treasury companies also deserve attention.

💭 MY TAKE

This isn't necessarily a Bitcoin crash catalyst.

It's a battle over whether crypto treasury companies belong in traditional stock indexes — and how that decision could affect their access to capital.

The rules have changed. The final outcome hasn't.

♟️ YOUR MOVE:

Should companies like Strategy stay in major stock indexes, or should they be treated more like investment funds?
