📊 USDT.D IS BOUNCING — THAT'S THE DIP YOU FELT THIS WEEK. HERE'S WHY I THINK IT'S THE LAST ONE BEFORE ALTS RUN.
Tether dominance (USDT.D) = how much of the market is sitting in stablecoins. When it rises, money is leaving coins for cash. When it falls, cash is being deployed into coins. It's the cleanest "risk-on / risk-off" gauge in crypto. 👇
The weekly chart:
📉 Downtrend since the ~9.3% peak — a descending trendline has capped every bounce.
🔻 Bottomed near 6.3% — that's when alts were ripping.
🟢 Now bouncing: 6.82%, +4% this week. That bounce IS the altcoin pullback you just lived through.
🎯 Next stop: the trendline around 7.1–7.2%.
My read:
USDT.D pushes a bit higher into that line — one more shake, one more red day or two for alts — then gets REJECTED. From there the path is down toward ~5%, which historically means the broadest altcoin rotation of the cycle.
In plain English: the dip isn't over yet, but it's almost over. The trendline retest is where sidelined cash stops hiding and comes back in.
What I'm doing:
📌 Not panic-selling this bounce — it's structure, not a trend change.
📌 Loading DCA tranches for the retest zone, not chasing green candles today.
📌 Watching 7.2%: rejection there = alts resume. A weekly close ABOVE the trendline = I'm wrong, risk-off is real, and I slow down.
Dominance charts tell you where money is going before price does. Right now they say: one more flush, then the floodgates.
