$FIL is down 8.0% in 24h and sitting one cent above the day's low. the bounce is not here yet.

the bull story is real on paper. Filecoin's own account says AI needs more stored data and that most of Seagate's high-capacity drive output is already allocated into 2028. that's the project talking about itself, so treat it as a pitch.

the receipts are smaller. by the project's own count, as of mid-September 165 customers had paid for services on Filecoin Pay and 31 providers had received payment. that's a pilot, not a demand wave, and the chart is pricing it that way.

I'd rather be early to the exit than late to the story. a good narrative doesn't hold a price when the usage numbers are this thin.

$FIL trades at $1.09 right now, with the 24h low at $1.08 and the high at $1.21. if it loses $1.08, I think it keeps sliding, because there's no buyer sitting under it. if it reclaims $1.21, I'm wrong on this and there's nothing to defend. if you're holding a bag from higher up, that's the only level that gives you your argument back.

$1.08 breaks or holds. which one?
