Corporate Bitcoin treasury adoption is no longer a contrarian bet — it is quietly becoming standard treasury hygiene.

The MicroStrategy playbook has been studied, stress-tested, and is now being replicated. Companies that once dismissed $BTC as too volatile are watching peers book unrealized gains measured in hundreds of percent over a multi-year horizon. The calculus is shifting: holding cash depreciates in real terms; holding Bitcoin introduces volatility but also the only liquid asset with a hard-coded supply ceiling.

What changed the math? Three things:
1. Custodial infrastructure matured. Qualified custodians, insurance wrappers, and SOC 2-audited solutions eliminated the "we cannot secure it" excuse.
2. Accounting treatment clarity. Mark-to-market fair value accounting allows BTC holdings to reflect upside on the balance sheet — not just impairment.
3. Board-level familiarity. Post-ETF approval, institutional fiduciaries now have daily liquidity benchmarks and NAV references. $BTC is a citable, priceable asset class.

The next frontier: mid-cap treasuries in Asia and Latin America treating $ETH and $BNB as reserve diversifiers alongside Bitcoin, with native staking adding a yield layer to idle corporate reserves.

Corporate FOMO is real. The question is not whether more companies adopt — it is how many wait until price forces the decision.
