Evernorth’s Nasdaq Debut Was a Roller Coaster. The Real Test Comes Later. First days on Nasdaq are rarely calm, and Evernorth’s was no exception. 🎢 XRPN opened at $16.68, jumped as high as $19.39, about 13.5% above Friday’s close, then slid back toward $17 within hours. Friday’s price still belonged to the Armada SPAC, though. What’s arriving on the market is interesting. Evernorth brings roughly 473 million $XRP and $300 million in gross cash, backed by Ripple, SBI, Pantera, Kraken and GSR. It didn’t buy those coins on Monday, though, the treasury was built through earlier contributions and purchases. The part I find important is how this differs from an ETF. 🧩 Evernorth plans to put its XRP to work through institutional lending and liquidity provision to grow XRP per share. That can mean extra income, but also extra counterparty and operational risk, and shareholders own the company, not redeemable tokens. So I’m not judging this by one wild session. The closing bell on Oct. 14 is a nice moment, but the number I’d watch is how XRPN’s valuation compares with the XRP and cash it holds. That gap will say more about investor trust than any opening spike. 💡 #Ripple #Altcoin Season#
