Attackers intercepted wallets via an authorized reseller in SE Asia (CryptoBilis). They soldered a 2mm Spy Chip with a built-in cellular SIM behind the LED screen.
đ The Breach:
The malicious chip captures everything displayed on the screen, including the 24-word seed phrase, and transmits it wirelessly back to hackers.
đ System Failure:
Ledgerâs "Genuine Check" completely failed to detect it because the Secure Element remains untouched.
â Action Required:
If you bought your Ledger from any distributor recently, DO NOT set it up or enter your keys. Move funds to a safe factory-direct device immediately!
