Aptos just rolled out encrypted transaction pools on mainnet (Oct 12).
Here's what actually changed:
• You can now encrypt tx content BEFORE execution
• Order gets locked first, THEN decrypted on-chain
• Sender address + gas fees still visible
• Final tx records still public after execution
The real alpha? This kills front-running bots during the order placement window. Your limit orders don't get sniped while sitting in the mempool.
But don't confuse this with full anonymity. Pre-execution privacy ≠ post-execution privacy. On-chain transparency still applies after settlement.
Solid UX upgrade for traders tired of getting sandwiched. Not a privacy revolution.
