Gold and DXY | London open
Gold is at $4,189, after testing $4,200.60 and pulling back. The 4H chart is still making lower highs after the late-September sell-off. For now, this looks like a recovery, not a confirmed trend reversal.
DXY has eased to 102.31 after reaching 102.57, helping gold hold near $4,180. If the dollar climbs back above 102.50, gold may struggle at $4,200. A break below 102.25 would give gold more room to recover.
đ„Gold levels: Resistance at $4,200 / $4,210 / $4,225. Support at $4,183 / $4,150 / $4,110.
While gold stays below $4,200, a rejection from $4,200â$4,210 or a 4H close below $4,183 keeps $4,150 and $4,110 in viewâespecially if DXY firms above $102.25.
For a bullish setup, gold needs to reclaim and hold above $4,200 as DXY breaks below 102.25 toward 102.10. First upside level: $4,225.
Iâm waiting for price and the dollar to confirm rather than chasing the middle of the range. Keep risk tight.
