Aptos ($APT ): Encrypted mempool launched to curb frontrunning and sandwich attacks

Aptos has rolled out an optional encrypted mempool, a new feature designed to protect transaction data. The feature is optional, allowing participants to choose whether to conceal their transaction data.

When enabled, the mempool hides transaction details until the order is finalized, making it difficult for bots to read pending trades and execute frontrunning or sandwich strategies. By keeping details hidden until finalization, the mempool prevents real-time analysis that bots rely on to front-run transactions.

By limiting early visibility, the upgrade seeks to curb these exploitative practices, enhancing overall security and fairness for users on the Aptos blockchain.
