🚹 STOCKS | BROADCOM CEO WARNS: AI’S BIGGEST BOTTLENECK IS NO LONGER JUST CHIPS — IT’S MONEY!

The AI boom just received an important warning from one of the industry’s biggest semiconductor executives.

Today, October 12, Broadcom CEO Hock Tan identified CAPITAL as the biggest constraint facing the company’s continued AI expansion.

Not GPUs.

Not memory chips.

CAPITAL.

Speaking in Singapore, Tan explained that Broadcom is overcoming wafer and memory shortages.

But financing the next stage of AI development is becoming the greater challenge.

And here’s the interesting part.

He also pointed to OpenAI and Anthropic as examples of AI companies generating significant revenue from their latest models.

Revenue is growing. But so are infrastructure costs.

WHY DOES THIS MATTER FOR STOCKS?

The AI investment cycle is evolving.

First, investors focused on GPU availability.

Then came memory shortages and advanced chip manufacturing capacity.

Now, attention is shifting toward something different:

Who can actually finance the next generation of AI infrastructure?

And the timing is significant.

A separate Reuters report published today estimates that TSMC’s third-quarter net profit could surge approximately 65% year over year to $23.4 BILLION.

That’s an analyst forecast, not a reported result.

TSMC’s earnings announcement is scheduled for Thursday, October 15.
