Remember 10/10. Especially if you trade altcoins

One year ago, the crypto market experienced a historic liquidation event that reportedly wiped out more than $19B in positions

BTC and ETH sold off hard, but altcoins were where things became genuinely ugly

Many tokens suffered 40–60% crashes, while some experienced extreme wicks as liquidity dried up and forced selling accelerated

This is the side of crypto that often gets ignored when the market is pumping

Everyone talks about how early they bought, how much their bags are worth, and which coin is going to do the next 20x

But very few people talk about what happens when the entire market tries to exit at the same time

That’s when you find out whether your position sizing makes sense, whether your portfolio is too concentrated, and whether you’ve been taking more risk than you can actually afford

I’m all for taking opportunities in this market, but there’s a difference between taking calculated risks and putting your entire account on the line

You can always find another trade

Recovering from a completely wrecked portfolio is a different story

One year later, the message is simple: respect volatility, respect liquidity, and never assume the market can’t move further than you expect

Happy 10/10, everyone🙏
