Thailand is about to let ordinary investors buy local crypto ETFs, and the rules lean cautious.
Per CoinDesk, Thai funds tracking bitcoin or $ETH can list from October 16. Each fund tracks one coin, buyers must confirm they understand the risks, and brokers cannot lend money to buy them.
My view: no leverage and a short asset list will keep the launch quiet. In a country where about one in five people reportedly use crypto, a quiet launch might be exactly what builds trust.
đŹ Should more countries copy this cautious ETF model?
