PIMCO CIO Warns 10-Year U.S. Treasury Yield Risks Hitting 6%
According to Sina Finance, PIMCO Group Chief Investment Officer Dan Ivascyn warned that the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield faces a risk of reaching 6% amid three macro pressures: high oil prices, sticky inflation, and a large public debt burden. He also said technical selling and forced liquidations by hedge funds have intensified market volatility, leaving yields with further upside risk in the near term.
