Samsung will integrate the $USDC transfer feature on the $SOL
network into Samsung Wallet for eligible Galaxy users in the US, enabling cross-border money transfers without the need to install additional crypto apps.
The feature is expected to launch in the last week of October and will apply to approximately 82 million Galaxy devices in the US. Users will be able to send USDC directly from Samsung Wallet to compatible external wallets.
Samsung states that it will not charge fees for $USDC
transfers, but the recipient wallet or exchange may impose fees. Additionally, users can transfer money to bank accounts in more than 60 countries, with recipients receiving funds in their local currency.
