One Of My Binance Bros Told Me He Sees $MET At $1… So I Checked The Data. Is It Actually Possible?
First I checked derivatives because I don't want to chase a 50%+ pump. OI climbed to around $44M and then cooled to ~$35M, while funding is around -0.26%. Futures CVD dropped to -26.1M, but spot CVD is still +61.4M. That difference is important: leverage is getting flushed while spot demand is still there.
Liquidation data also makes me prefer a pullback. There is liquidity below, so I actually want $MET to cool down instead of blindly chasing.
Volume profile gives me $0.45-$0.46 as the key area, with $0.476 around the bigger VWAP/reclaim zone. Below that, $0.42-$0.43 and $0.39-$0.40 are the zones I'd rather buy for RR.
Now look at spot flow: 4H showed +$5.12M, 1H +$663K, and 1D a huge +$29.27M net inflow. Large-wallet 1D flow alone was around +$7.9M. That's why I'm still interested.
And yes guys, this pump has a reason. Meteora just introduced DLMM Pro, while Binance launched a MET tournament with 400 BNB rewards running Oct 8-15.
But remember the risk: 7.22M MET is scheduled to unlock Oct 23, around 0.72% of total supply.
So what do I think? Yes guys, I'm not kidding. The data is enough for MET to potentially push toward $1. But that doesn't mean straight to $1. Pullbacks + consolidation + another leg up would actually be healthier.
I'm not betting on $1 tomorrow. But $1 within 1 week to 1 month is possible if $BTC and macro stay stable.
Short term, don't dream that far 😂. Once MET reaches my entry zone, wait 30m if it moves fast, or 1H if it consolidates. Then check spot flow, CVD, candle reaction and volume. If all still look good, then consider the long.
