A massive 2.4 billion dollars rushed into spot $BTC ETFs in just five days, but aggressive institutional inflows often signal local top risks rather than easy entry points.

Most retail traders see green inflow charts, get severe FOMO, and end up buying right when Wall Street liquidity starts getting stretched. It feels safe to jump in after a massive turnaround, yet chasing sudden momentum after a 5.8 billion dollar drawdown reversal is usually how people get trapped holding the bag.

The data shows Monday alone absorbed nearly a billion dollars at 999 million in net purchases, marking the heaviest weekly volume since last October. Over ninety percent of that entire cash pile was funneled directly into just three funds: IBIT, FBTC, and ARKB. When spot exposure concentrates this fast, it rarely trickles down cleanly to large caps like $ETH or broader altcoins before a pullback cools things down.

Institutional capital tends to be mercenary rather than sticky long term. When inflows spike this vertically over a single week, the risk of rapid profit-taking and sharp leverage flushes increases dramatically. Watching spot demand is crucial, but assuming these inflows provide a permanent floor can be an expensive mistake.

Are you de-risking into this ETF strength, or do you think the momentum keeps pushing higher from here?
