🚹 XRP SPOT ETFs NOW HOLD $1.7 BILLION

XRP ETF story line continues its growth, although the headline should be read carefully.

đŸ‡ș🇾 5 tracked U.S. spot XRP ETFs held an estimated $1.7B worth of XRP as of October 6.

That represents the equivalent of about 1.13B XRP held through these investment products.

But here is the interesting part 👇

📊 recent ETF flows

‱ ETF holdings: ~$1.7B

‱ Weekly net inflows: ~$3.9M

‱ Monthly net inflows: ~$112M

‱ Bitwise led the latest buying

‱ Franklin and Canary recorded outflows on October 6

Thus, while fresh weekly buying has cooled off sharply, the bigger picture continues to be one in which a significant amount of XRP exposure is being gained via regulated spot ETF products.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Spot ETFs create a direct bridge between traditional markets and XRP.

When investors buy ETF shares, the funds tend to have keep XRP exposure as a base. This means that the sustained net inflows can become an important source of structural demand.

But we shouldn't mix $1.7B in accumulated holdings with $1.7B of new money arriving this week.

The difference is key. The current data points to the fact that although XRP ETF demand seems positive, the rate of it has cooled off sharply compared to some of the stronger weeks that we've seen earlier this year.

For example, XRP spot ETFs attracted about $75.6M during the September 21–25 trading week, illustrating that such buying can surge rapidly when the demand returns.

đŸ”„ THE BIGGER PICTURE OF XRP

The ETF market is becoming an increasingly important metric to track alongside:

‱ ETF net flows

‱ XRP exchange balances

‱ Spot volume

‱ Futures positioning

One bullish signal alone does not ensure a price breakout.

However, the confluence of ETF inflows, falling exchange supply and rising spot demand could become much more significant.
