After 12 years in BTC, I watch BTC/GOLD closely. It shows whether Bitcoin is actually outperforming the âsafe haven.â
đ Nov 2025: ratio topped above 28
đ Feb 2026: bottomed at 12.1 (down more than 55%)
đ Since then: higher lows (12.1 â 13.7 â 14.3) and higher highs (18.0 â 18.6 â 21.0)
đ Sept: broke out of the 18.5 area and ran to 21
Today: 20.08, the first pullback after a sharp run.
đą Base case: retest of 19.4â19.6 (breakout support), then another push at 21 đŻ
đ Bull: a daily close above 21.35 opens 22.45, then 24+
đ» Bear: a close below 19.4 and the breakout fails, with 18.5 and 17.5 next
Note that part of this move came from gold weakening, so a gold bounce can pull the ratio down even if BTC holds.
