An SEC filing says the business combination is now expected to close around October 9, with trading under XRPN expected to begin around October 12, instead of October 8. At closing, Evernorth is expected to hold roughly 473 million XRP.
But thereâs another development happening around the same time.
UPCOMING: XRP Ledger documentation shows Permission Delegation V1.1 and Batch V1.1 as important protocol developments. Permission Delegation allows accounts to give specific transaction permissions to another account, while Batch lets multiple transactions be processed together.
And institutionally, Ripple confirmed on October 6 that Brevan Howard is expanding its relationship with Ripple Prime for multi-asset prime brokerage, clearing and financing services.
