#EvernorthDelaysNasdaqDebutToOct12

Evernorth has delayed its planned Nasdaq debut under the ticker XRPN from October 8 to October 12, after an administrative delay pushed back the closing of its merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II.

The company now expects the transaction to close on October 9, with trading beginning the following Monday, subject to customary closing conditions and Nasdaq listing requirements. Evernorth says the administrative delay is not expected to affect the completion of the deal.

The delay comes as investors are watching Evernorth closely because of its massive XRP treasury strategy.

At closing, Evernorth expects to hold approximately 473 million XRP and receive roughly $300 million in gross cash proceeds. The company aims to become a major publicly traded vehicle offering direct exposure to XRP.

The four day delay does not necessarily change the fundamentals of the transaction, but it does give investors a few more days to speculate about what XRPN could look like once trading begins.

The bigger question is what happens when the stock finally opens.

Will investors value Evernorth primarily based on its XRP holdings, its future growth potential, or the premium attached to owning a publicly traded XRP treasury company?

October 12 could provide the first real market answer.
