Binance $BTC supply fell 1.3% over 30D to Oct. 5, its steepest decline since Aug. 3—suggesting continued BTC movement off-exchange. Our Binance brake signal remains OFF at −0.84, well below its 1.5 trigger, while the SOPR rule has held BTC since Aug. 8. The strategy has also stayed above its 200D average since Aug. 19, despite the Fed’s first rate hike since 2023. Historically, the brake activated on only 34 days and avoided declines across all 6 pauses, improving returns from +53.1% to +79.2%. Over the past year, the brake turned the strategy’s −1.6% return into +1.1%, while BTC itself fell 30.6%. For now, falling Binance supply + an inactive brake keep the on-chain setup constructive, but the sample remains small. #Bitcoin #BTC #Binance #Onchain #Crypto
