$118 million left US crypto ETFs on Monday. Bitcoin didn't blink.

If you're new, that sounds impossible. How does nine figures walk out the door while the price holds $86k?

Because ETF outflows are not the same as someone market-dumping on an exchange. When an authorized participant redeems ETF shares, the flow often settles through inventory and OTC desks, off the lit order book. That $118M was about 0.52% of the day's $17.2B spot volume. Noise, not pressure.

Context helps. BTC ETFs are still roughly $120M net positive over the last five sessions. And derivatives look calm: futures open interest is down, funding is modest, positioning nearly balanced.

None of that means ETFs don't matter. It means markets move on persistent flows, not single-day prints. One red day after a $999M green one is mean reversion. Watch whether outflows string together. That would be the signal.

Until then, the bid is absorbing just fine.
