🚨 THE U.S. JUST DROPPED A CRYPTO RULE THAT HUNG OVER THE MARKET FOR NEARLY SIX YEARS. And this isn’t about ETFs. It isn’t about price. It’s about: YOUR WALLET. ☀️ CRYPTO MORNING BRIEF|OCT 6

What happened overnight?

An interesting divergence is forming 👇

📈 NASDAQ → +1%|RECORD HIGH
₿ BTC → ~$85.9K|mostly flat
Ξ ETH → ~$2.72K
BNB → ~$789

Stocks are Risk-On.

Crypto hasn’t fully followed yet.

Here are the 5 things that matter today:

🇺🇸 1. NASDAQ HITS A RECORD

Mega-cap tech pushed Wall Street higher.

But the question is:

Why isn’t crypto breaking out with it?

📈 2. YIELDS ARE STILL HIGH

The U.S. 10Y remains near ~5.3%.

Weak jobs reduced the probability
of an October Fed hike,

but the bond market
still hasn’t fully turned.

That may be one reason BTC
remains stuck in its recent range.

💰 3. BTC AND ETH ETF DEMAND DIVERGE

Latest completed weekly data:

₿ BTC ETFs → +$241M
Ξ ETH ETFs → -$138M

Bitcoin ETFs have now recorded
three straight positive weeks.

Ether ETFs flipped back into outflows.

Important:

Full Oct. 5 daily ETF data
is not yet confirmed this morning,

so I’m not using incomplete numbers.

🏛️ 4. CFTC MOVES ON CRYPTO RULES

The CFTC proposed a new federal framework
for crypto platforms offering:

leverage,
margin,
or financed trading.

Key themes:

🔹 Federal registration
🔹 Anti-manipulation controls
🔹 Proof of reserves
🔹 Oversight of leveraged products

The regulatory question is changing from:

“Should crypto be regulated?”

to:

“How should crypto be regulated?”

🔓 5. $1.11B IN TOKEN UNLOCKS

Another market variable today:

Around $1.11B of token unlocks
are scheduled across early October.

HYPE alone has roughly
$340M scheduled today.

So the real question is:

STOCKS ARE RISK-ON.

CAN CRYPTO CATCH UP?

Today I’m watching:

₿ BTC testing the $87K area
📈 U.S. 10Y yields
💰 Fresh ETF flows
🏛️ CFTC rulemaking
🔓 Token-unlock volatility

It’s Sunday.

No fresh Wall Street ETF flows.

Bitcoin is on its own.

Today → +0.57%

After failing to hold the move above $87K,
Bitcoin pulled back toward $84K.

Now the market is fighting for:

$85K.

🇺🇸 2. SOFT JOBS CHANGED THE FED TRADE

September payrolls:

Unemployment → 4.2%

October hike odds have fallen

That gives risk assets some breathing room.

💰 4. ETFs WON’T SET TODAY’S DIRECTION

U.S. markets are closed for the weekend.

And Oct. 2 ETF data
