🚹 Stripe is expanding its stablecoin card business to more than 100 countries by the end of 2026.

The payments giant is making a major push into crypto payments, with its stablecoin cards allowing users to spend digital-dollar balances through regular card payments.

Stripe’s new crypto head, Henri Stern, also revealed that the company is exploring tokenized deposits and DeFi use cases, showing that Stripe’s plans go beyond just stablecoin cards.

The expansion could make stablecoins more useful for everyday payments and cross-border transactions, while bringing crypto-based payments closer to the traditional financial system.
